Andrew Buckman Joins Publisher Collective as CEO

We’re happy to announce this week that Andrew Buckman has joined us as Chief Executive Officer.
Andrew will be setting the strategic direction for our company as we enter our next chapter following the merger with Snigel last year.
Andrew will be focusing on building even stronger relationships with our publisher network, advertisers, and media agency partners, while guiding the business through the next phase of growth. Andrew steps into the CEO role previously held by Christian Jeschko, who will continue with us as Chief Operating Officer, concentrating on growth initiatives and deepening publisher partnerships.
Andrew brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to the role, including 26 years in ad tech. Most recently,Andrew was CEO of Sublime, where he led the company through its successful acquisition by Azerion and remained with the business for another four years post-exit. During that time, Andrew oversaw M&A activity and led key areas including HR, marketing, and investor relations.
As CEO of Publisher Collective, Andrew will lead the company’s overall direction and performance, with a clear focus on building long-term value. His immediate priorities include bringing teams and systems together to create a more unified and resilient organisation. He’ll also be focused on growing publisher partnerships, strengthening monetisation capabilities, and driving sustainable profitability, whilst helping independent publishers thrive in an increasingly complex and fast-moving digital advertising landscape.

A note from the new CEO:
"Quality, credible journalism has never been more important, yet publishers are facing unprecedented challenges, including pressure on site traffic, declining ad prices, and difficulties with monetization. We will be identifying growth opportunities across our publisher network, delivering new ad formats, and data-driven sustainable monetization solutions. On the advertiser and agency side, I'm excited to be joining a company with a strong and diverse portfolio of publishers offering high-quality, brand-safe audiences that advertisers want to engage with.
“What attracted me to this role is the opportunity to create something of value for publishers, advertisers, employees, and investors. I’m looking forward to working in an environment where I can have a direct impact on the personal development of the team, dealing directly with all aspects of the business and driving change.”
It’s great to have you on board Andrew!
